- July 24 - USDA announced export sales of 104,350 MT of US wheat for delivery to Taiwan during the 2015/16. Of the total, 56,550 tons is hard red spring, 36,550 tons is hard red winter, and 11,250 tons is white wheat

The smaller durum wheat harvest was 99% complete, accelerating from 85% the previous week and ahead of the 64% progress a year ago

- UN's FAO estimated 2015 Syria's wheat crop at 2.445 MMT with wheat deficit at 800,000 MT

- Rusagrotrans estimated 2015/16 Russian wheat exports at 20 MMT vs. previous estimate of 21 MMT

- Russian farmers have harvested 27.5 MMT of grain (incl. 22.5 MMT of wheat and 2.9 MMT of barley) as of July 23, down from 35.6 MMT (incl. 29.2 MMT of wheat and 3 MMT of barley) a year ago. Yields were at 3.71 mt/ha, up from 3.47 mt/ha a year ago

- Ukrainian farmers harvested 12.78 MMT (53% of area) of wheat as of July 23, down from 13.65 MMT a year ago. Yields were at 3.52 mt/ha vs. 3.51 mt/ha a year ago

- Kazakhstan's Ag Min said Kazakhstan harvested 619,300 MT as of July 24, up from 310,900 MT a year ago. Yields were at 1.62 mt/ha, up from 1.08 mt/ha a year ago

- Argentine Ag Min cut its 2015/16 wheat planting area estimate to 4.8 mln ha, citing dryness in some farm areas as the reason for reducing its previous estimate of 5 mln ha

- Buenos Aires Grain Exchange estimated wheat planting 93.8% done as of July 23, up 4.8% on the week, and vs. 87.8% a year ago
