WHEAT

- Russian farmers have harvested 20.1 MMT of grain (incl. 15.8 MMT of wheat and 2.6 MMT of barley) as of July 17, down from 24.9 MMT (incl. 20.5 MMT of wheat and 2.7 MMT of barley) a year ago. Yields were at 3.69 mt/ha, up from 3.51 mt/ha a year ago

- Russia's Ag Min said Russia exported about 434 TMT of grain between July 1-15, 2015, down by 56.9% from 1.007 MMT a year ago, including wheat - 200 TMT, barley - 137 TMT, corn - 93 TMT, other grains - 4 TMT

CORN

- Ukraine's Ag Min said Ukraine exported 1098 TMT of grain between July 1-17, 2015 (vs. 843 TMT for the same period last year), including wheat – 289 TMT (vs. 150 TMT a year ago), corn – 620 TMT ( vs. 259 TMT), barley – 187 TMT (vs. 423 TMT) and other grains – 2 TMT (vs. 10 TMT)

- Japan's use of corn in animal feed slipped by 0.4 percentage points from the month prior to 45.1% in May, which is well below 46.8% last year. Users continue to increase their use of sorghum in animal feed; in May sorghum usage stood at 3.7%, up 0.1 point from April and 0.5 points above year-ago. Wheat usage in feed rations held steady at 1.5% in May, which is down from 2% in May 2014

PALM OIL

- Surveyor Intertek Testing Services estimated Malaysia's July 1-20 palm oil exports at 907,574 MT down 15.5% from a month ago
