The Egypt's state grain buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) on Tuesday, July 14, bought 120,000 MT of Romanian and 115,000 MT of Russian wheat for August 21-31 delivery:

  • 60 TMT of Russian wheat from ADM at 209.43 $/t c&f (199.75$/t fob + 9.68 $/t freight from United Marin)
  • 60 TMT of Romanian wheat from ADM at 210.4 $/t c&f (199.75 $/t fob + 10.65 $/t freight from National Navigation)
  • 55 TMT of Russian wheat from Glencore at 210.8 $/t c&f (198.5 $/t fob + 12.3 $/t freight from National Navigation)
  • 60 TMT of Romanian wheat from Ameropa at 210.9 $/t c&f (200.25 $/t fob + 10.65 $/t freight from National Navigation)

It was the third tender since the start of the new fiscal year. GASC has bought 475 TMT (235 TMT from Russia, 180 TMT from Romania and 60 TMT from Ukraine) of wheat on the international market since July 1, the start of the 2015/16.
