- Safras Mercado says Brazilian safrinha (second) corn crop 7% harvested compared to 10% last year with total (first and second) production estimated at 85.6 MMT compared to 82.3 MMT last month and USDA's estimate of 81 MMT

- China to auction 2.9 MMT of corn from reserve Thursday and 2.3 MMT Friday

- China considering anti-dumping investigation of DDGs. They did this once before in 2010, with the investigation lasting 1.5 years, and it cut imports of DDGs in 2011 by 50%

- China Grain Reserves or SinoGrain plans to invest 10 billion yuan ($1.61 billion) on grain storage and infrastructure

- French farm ministry's first peg of the 2015 total barley crop of 11.7 MMT would be down 0.5% from 2014. This included 8.95 MMT of winter barley, up 4.6% on last year, and 2.8 MMT of spring barley, down 13.9% on 2014. The ministry's first estimate for the French corn harvest is due to be released next month

- Ukraine's Ag Min said Ukraine has exported 308 TMT of grain between July 1-5, 2015 including wheat – 92 TMT and corn – 214 TMT

- Ukrainian farmers harvested 1.9 MMT of all grains (incl. 1.4 MMT of barley), down from 6.8 MMT of all grains a year ago as of July 7. Yields were at 3.05 mt/ha up from 2.88 mt/ha a year ago
