- South Korea's Korea Flour Mills (KFMC) bought 31,700 MT of Australian wheat for November shipment

- CNGOIC estimates Chinese wheat imports in 2015/16 (June-May) at 2-2.5 MMT compared to 1.49 MMT in 2014/15 due to rain hurting crop quality. Wheat imports in May were the highest in more than a year due to shortages in high-quality wheat. China's total wheat harvest in 2015/16 is expected to grow 2% to 127.7 MMT

- IGC lowered its 2015/16 global wheat production forecast by 4 MMT to 711.3 MMT and vs. 720.8 MMT in 2014/15 and trimmed global carryover by 4 MMT to 195.8 MMT, down from 197.6 MMT in 2014/15. The lower 2015/16 wheat crop forecast was driven partly by downward revisions for India (89 MMT from 91 MMT), Australia (25.5 MMT from 27 MMT) and the EU (148.8 MMT from 150 MMT). Ukraine's 2015/16 wheat crop forecast was raised to 22 MMT from 21 MMT although it remained below the prior season's 24.1 MMT

- Ukraine's state weather center raised its wheat crop forecast by 1 MMT to 24.5-24.9 MMT, citing better weather conditions; yield is estimated at 3.7 MT per hectare this year, down from 4.0 mt/ha in 2014

- Coceral estimates EU milling wheat production at 140.6 MMT versus 138.6 MMT estimated in March and 148.3 MMT last year

- FranceAgriMer, in a weekly update, rated 81% of soft wheat good or excellent as of June 22, down from 85% a week earlier but above 71% a year ago

- EU in week ended June 23 granted licences to export 361 TMT of soft wheat, bringing the total this season to 31.033 MMT vs. 27.735 MMT a year ago

- Russia's Ag Min said Russia exported about 30.062 MMT of grain between July 1 – June 24, 2014/15 vs. 25.232 MMT a year ago, including wheat – 21.324 MMT, barley – 5.293 MMT, corn – 2.96 MMT
