- Algeria seeks at least 50,000 MT of optional origin feed barley

- June 12 - Tunisia bought 50,000 MT of feed barley at 191.00-191.21 $/mt c&f for July-September shipment

- Safras & Mercado estimates Brazil's 2014/15 corn crop at a record 83 MMT vs. Conab's estimate of 80.2 MMT and vs. USDA's – 81 MMT

- Ukraine's Ag Min said Ukraine has exported 33.119 MMT of grain between July 1, 2014 – June 12, 2015 including wheat – 10.627 MMT, corn – 17.778 MMT and barley – 4.461 MMT

- China's Heilongjiang province, the country's top corn producing region in the northeast, will again increase subsidies to local corn processors to help the loss-making industry and encourage more use of domestic corn

- China likely to cut corn support price for the 2015/16 harvest by about 10% from last year's level and could offer rail freight subsidies to feed mills in south to encourage domestic corn use and bring down imports of cheaper substitutes

- DDGs prices collapsed last week more than 15$/mt. China has cancelled two cargos of US DDGs thus far, and there is talk that they are considering cancelling six more vessels

- Buenos Aires Grains Exchange said Argentine corn harvesting was 40.7% done versus 42% a year ago. Exchange kept its 2014/15 corn crop estimate at 25.0 MMT
