- EU Commission estimated EU's 2015 soft wheat crop at 141.5 MMT, down from the 141.6 MMT previously and vs. a record 148.8 MMT in 2014
- June 3 - Russia bought 14,985 MT of intervention grain (wheat). Making the total bought since Sept 30 at 1.034 MMT, including wheat – 826,740 MT, barley – 113,650 MT and rye – 93,285 MT
- Russia's Ag Min sees 2015/16 grain exports at 25-30 MMT
- India cut this year's monsoon forecast to 88% of the long-term average versus its April forecast of 93%, prompted by an El Nino weather pattern and raising fears of the first drought in six years
- Iran's Jan-Apr wheat imports increased by 48.8% in terms of volume compared with the first four months of 2014
- Global Grain Group (G3), a partnership between Saudi Agricultural & Livestock Investment Co. and Bunge, had formed a joint venture with Western Stevedoring Co. The venture will evaluate the feasibility of a new terminal at Lynnterm West Gate in Vancouver
