- Indonesia bought 75,000 MT of Brazilian corn for July

- IGC raised its forecast for the 2015/16 global corn crop by 10 MMT to 961 MMT, but below last season's 997 MMT, due to more optimistic view for Brazil, US and China. Corn consumption in 2015/16 was put at 974 MMT with stocks at the end of the season put at 187 MMT (previous projection - 181 MMT), down from 201 million a year earlier

- So far this month, only 12% of China's state corn reserves put up for auction have been sold, despite subsidies granted to corn processors to boost sales. Demand for state corn stocks is expected to remain low throughout the year, say analysts, as users will continue to favor cheaper imported corn and corn substitutes like sorghum and dried distiller grains (DDGs). Domestic corn prices are around 40% higher than global levels

- EU in week ended May 26 granted licences to export 151 TMT of corn, bringing the total this season to 3.22 MMT vs. 2.477 MMT a year ago
