- May 22 - South Korea's MFG bought 69,000 MT of optional origin feed wheat for October shipment

- Russia's Ag Min proposes new wheat export duty formula that will be introduced from July 1. It has proposed exporters pay a duty of 1 RUR/mt on wheat priced up to 11,000 RUR/mt (218.2 $/mt) fob. When the price exceeds 11,000 RUR/mt, exporters would pay duty equivalent to half of the price minus 5,500 RUR

- SovEcon raised its estimate of Russian grain crop to 95.0 MMT from 90.5 MMT, but still below official Ag Min's estimate for a 100 MMT and last year's almost record of 105 MMT

- SovEcon estimates Russia's 2015/16 exportable grain surplus at 25.5 MMT vs. 31 MMT this season

- SovEcon estimates 2015 Russian wheat crop at 54.0 MMT versus 60.0 MMT in 2014. They expect a wheat exportable surplus of 18.0 MMT in 2015/16 compared to 21.5 MMT in 2014/15
