- May 13 – Israel seeks 65,000 MT of feed wheat

- May 7 - Algeria bought 200,000 MT of durum from Mexico at 310-312 $/mt c&f and Canada at 320-322 $/mt c&f for May-Jun shipment

- The US plans to give 100,000 MT of wheat to Jordan, to help limit the impact of Syrian refuges on their economy

- USDA estimated 44% of the US winter wheat crop good to excellent as of May 11, in line with traders' expectations and up from 43% a week ago and vs. 30% a year ago

- USDA said the US spring wheat crop 87% planted as of May 11 vs. 75% a week ago, and vs. 33% a year ago and vs. a five year average of 51%

- US wheat export inspections for week, ending May 7, recorded 378,407 MT, within trade expectations

- Canada's spring wheat crop has been reported at 45% planted, and progress continues to advance rapidly

- May 12 - Russia bought 36,585 MT of intervention grain (wheat). Making the total bought since Sept 30 at 820,240 MT, including wheat – 613,305 MT, barley – 113,650 MT and rye – 93,285 MT
