- Sept 25 - UAE seeks 107 KMT of optional origin wheat

- Sept 18 - Tunisia bought 75 KMT of milling wheat optional origin at 241.97-244.47 $/t C&F for Nov-Dec shipment

- Sept 18 - Israel bought 35 KMT of feed wheat at 204.77 $/t C&F for Dec-Jan shipment

- Sept 18 - Japan bought 109,095 tons of food wheat for Oct-Nov shipment:

  • 28,125 tons of US western white wheat
  • 29,185 tons of US HRW wheat
  • 28,015 tons of US dark northern spring wheat
  • 23,770 tons of Canadian western spring wheat

- Sept 10 – Algeria (OAIC) bought 605 KMT of milling wheat in a tender, a larger volume than initially thought (400 KMT) and possibly including French wheat. OAIC later purchased additional volume and the prices ranged from 254.50 to 256 $/t C&F

- Morocco ONICL seeks 176 KMT of local soft wheat

- Strategie Grains estimated 2014 EU soft wheat crop at 146.6 MMT vs. previous estimate of 144.1 MMT and up 8% from a year ago

- Tunisia Ag Min said 2014 grain crop at 2.34 MMT vs. 1.3 MMT a year ago. Grain imports expected to drop by 80% in 2015

- Argentina Ag Min said as of Sept 10th Argentine farmers have sold 70.09% of wheat crop vs. 97.49% a year ago

- Russia’s federal statistics agency said Sept 1st grain stocks were at 39.4 MMT up 19% from a year ago

- Russia’s Ag Min said Russia exported 9.898 MMT of grain between July 1st – Sept 17th up 26% from a year ago

- Sept 18 - South Korea KOCOPIA purchased 55 KMT of corn worldwide origin from Bunge at 210.42 $/t C&F for Feb

- Sept 18 - Israel bought about 70 KMT of corn for Nov-Jan shipment

- Sept 19 - EU raised its import tariffs on maize, sorghum and rye to 10.44 €/t (13.43 $/t) from 5.32 euros previously

- China sold 625,844 tons of corn at last week’s auction. They offered 5.02 MMT
