The Egypt's state grain buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) on Tuesday, March 6, bought 175,000 MT of wheat from Russia for April 5-15 delivery:

  • 55,000 MT of Russian wheat from GTCS at 229.75 $/mt c&f (213.00 fob+16.75 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Garant Logistics at 231.05 $/mt c&f (214.95 fob+16.10 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from GTCS at 231.10 $/mt c&f (215.00 fob+16.10 freight);

It was 21-th international tender since the start of the new fiscal year. GASC has bought 4.85 MMT (4.19 MMT from Russia, 420 TMT from Romania, 180 TMT from Ukraine and 60 TMT from France) of wheat on the international market since July 1, the start of the 2017/18
