  • 55,000 MT of Russian wheat from GTCS at 229.75 $/mt c&f (213.00 fob+16.75 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Garant Logistics at 231.05 $/mt c&f (214.95 fob+16.10 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from GTCS at 231.10 $/mt c&f (215.00 fob+16.10 freight)

- Mar 6 - Argentina registered 100,000 MT of wheat for export

- Mar 5 - Argentina registered 123,556 MT of wheat for export

- Mar 5 - Jordan Silos & Supply General Company has made no purchase in an international tender for 50,000 MT of optional-origin milling wheat and re-tender on April 5

- US wheat export inspections for week, ending Mar 1, recorded 400,937 MT, topped trade expectations (200-400 TMT). Inspections for 2017/18 are running 6.6% behind of year-ago

- Iran and Russia signed an agreement on the supply of 100,000 MT of Russian wheat monthly for private millers in Iran who would then produce flour for export

- Mar 6 - China sold 244,522 MT of wheat from state reserves or 12% of the offered amount (2,033,560 MT) at auction at average price of 2,454 RMB/mt (387 $/mt)

- ABARES forecasts 2018/19 Australian wheat crop at 23.74 MMT, up 11.8% from 21.24 MMT in 2017/18

VEGETABLE OILS

- Mar 6 - USDA announced export sales of 120,000 MT of US soybeans for delivery to China during 2017/18

- Mar 5 - Argentina registered for export 102,000 MT of soybean oil

- US soybean export inspections for week, ending Mar 1, reported 990,113 MT, at the top end of trade estimates (600-1000 TMT). Inspections for the 2017/18 marketing year are running 12.6% behind of year-ago

- Safras & Mercado estimated Brazilian farmers sold 43.5% of the 2017/18 soybean crop so far versus 42% last year and vs. 5-year average pace of 50.2%

- ABARES forecasts 2017/18 Australian canola crop at 4.01 MMT, up 9.3% from 3.67 MMT in 2016/17

- Strategie Grains lowered its forecast of EU's 2018/19 rapeseed production to 22.66 MMT from 22.78 MMT previously (21.98 MMT in 2017/18)

- Strategie Grains raised its forecast of EU's 2018/19 sunflower seed production to 9.1 MMT from 9.09 MMT previously (9.42 MMT in 2017/18)

- Strategie Grains forecast the EU's 2018/19 soybean production at 2.72 MMT, up from an estimated 2.58 MMT in 2017/18
