- Nov 22 - Tunisia's state grains agency bought 100,000 MT of optional-origin soft wheat, 11.5%, for Jan 25-Feb 25 shipment:

  • 25,000 MT of soft milling wheat from ADM at 207.08 $/mt c&f;
  • 25,000 MT of soft milling wheat from Dreyfus at 207.48 $/mt c&f;
  • 25,000 MT of soft milling wheat from Soufflet at 207.94 $/mt c&f;
  • 25,000 MT of soft milling wheat from Cofco at 208.19 $/mt c&f

- Nov 23 - Argentina registered 114,710 MT of wheat for export

- Nov 21 - Argentina registered 130,522 MT of wheat for export

- USDA rated 52% of the US wheat crop in good to excellent condition as of Nov 19, down 2% points from prior week and behind of market forecasts of 54%, also below last-year's 58%

- Radioactive pollution in the Ural mountains caused some concerns, although scientists said there were no human or environmental risks

- Nov 23 - China sold 36,637 MT of 2012 wheat from state reserves or 7.1% of the offered amount (516,987 MT) at auction at average price of 2,374 RMB/mt (361 $/mt)

- Nov 21 - China sold 260,121 MT of wheat from state reserves or 13% of the offered amount (1,991,957 MT) at auction at average price of 2,504 RMB/mt (377 $/mt)

- Russia plans to supply up to 1 MMT of grain to Sudan this year

- Ukraine's Ag Min said Ukraine exported 15.95 MMT of grain between July 1-Nov 22, 2017/18 vs. 16.77 MMT for the same period last season, including:

  • wheat – 9.5 MMT (vs. 9.54 MMT a year ago);
  • corn – 2.68 MMT (3.23 MMT);
  • barley – 3.71 MMT (3.95 MMT)

- Ukrainian farmers as of Nov 22 have sown 5.9 million hectares (97% of plan) for the 2018 wheat harvest

- According to TAXUD, the EU this season in period of July 1-Nov 21, 2017/18 exported 8.057 MMT of soft wheat compared to 10.069 MMT a year ago

- Bulgarian farmers as of Nov 16 have sown 1.043 million hectares for the 2018 wheat harvest, up 8.2% from 963,351 ha at the same date a year earlier

- Nov 24 - Saudi Arabia seeks 720,000 MT of feed barley in 12 consignments for Jan-Feb shipment

- Nov 23 - Turkey's TMO bought 96,000 MT of corn (8x12 TMT) for Nov 29-Dec 12 shipment:

  • 72,000 MT from Tiryaki at 708 Turkish lira/mt (179 $/mt) c&f Derince;
  • 24,000 MT from Erser at 709 TRY/mt (180 $/mt) c&f Derince

- Nov 22 - Tunisia's state grains agency bought 50,000 MT of feed barley from Glencore at 208.98 $/mt c&f for Feb 5-25 shipment

- Nov 22 - Japan bought 7,940 MT of feed grain (380 MT of wheat and 7,560 MT of barley) for February 28, 2018, arrival via SBS-tender. New SBS tender for 120,000 MT of feed wheat and 200,000 MT of feed barley will be held on Nov 29

- Nov 21 - Turkey's TMO bought a total of about 113,435 MT of corn in 9 consignments for Nov 27-Dec 10 shipment:

  • 25,380 MT from Solaris at 707.5 Turkish lira/mt (179 $/mt) c&f Bandirma;
  • 25,200 MT from Erser at 712.5 TRY/mt (180 $/mt) c&f Izmir;

- Nov 21 - Turkey's TMO bought 48,000 MT of barley (4x12 TMT) for Nov 27-Dec 10 shipment:

  • 12,000 MT from Louis Dreyfus at 842.5 Turkish lira/mt (212.9 $/mt) c&f Izmir;
  • 12,000 MT from ADM at 849 TRY/mt (214.5 $/mt) c&f Trabzon;
  • 24,000 MT from Glencore at 860 TRY/mt (217.3 $/mt) c&f Mersin

- Nov 21 - Argentina registered 43,823 MT of corn for export

- USDA estimated 90% of the US corn crop had been harvested as of Nov 19, behind analyst forecasts (91%), also below last year’s pace (96%) and 5-year mean of 95%

- China will remove the value-added tax on imports of distillers’ dried grain from Dec 20. Anti-dumping and anti-subsidy duties on U.S. DDGS imports remain in place

- US Ethanol production for the week ended Nov 17 rose by 20,000 barrels to a record high 1,074,000 barrels per day, up 5.9% from last year's level of 1,014,000 bpd. Stocks climbed by 400,000 barrels from the week prior to 21.897 million barrels, up 15.5% vs. 18.952 million barrels a year ago
