- Russian Ag Min estimated spring planting 7.8% (or 4.13 million ha) done as of Apr 14 vs. 4.16 million ha a year ago. Of the total Russian farmers planted 2.44 million ha of spring grain or 7.9% of planned area (2.52 mln ha a year ago). Russian farmers have sown 240,800 ha of spring wheat or 1.8% of planned area as of April 14 vs. 196,100 ha a year ago

Total stock at ports and in pipelines decreased to 1.913 MMT from 1.965 MMT a month ago, well below last year's 2.31 MMT. India's monthly requirement is about 1.65 MMT
