The Egypt's state grain buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) on Wednesday, March 15, bought 420,000 MT of wheat from Russia (300 TMT), France (60 TMT) and Ukraine (60 TMT) for April 15-25 delivery:

  • 60,000 MT of Ukrainian wheat from Louis Dreyfus at 207.74 $/mt c&f (195+12.74 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Olam at 208.29 $/mt c&f (195.90+12.39 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Louis Dreyfus at 209.39 $/mt c&f (197+12.39 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from AOS at 210.15 $/mt c&f (197.65+12.50 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Aston at 210.15 $/mt c&f (197.65+12.50 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Daewoo at 210.20 $/mt c&f (197.70+12.50 freight);
  • 60,000 MT of French wheat from Casillo at 210.89 $/mt c&f (195.84+15.05 freight)

It was the 26-th international tender since the start of the new fiscal year. GASC has bought 5.555 MMT (3.875 MMT from Russia, 960 TMT from Romania, 420 TMT from Ukraine, 180 TMT from France and 120 TMT from Argentina) of wheat on the international market since July 1, the start of the 2016/17
